Alan Herrman is a Partner in PwC’s Real Estate Advisory team, providing leadership across a national team of 65 multi-disciplinary property specialists. With more than 20 years’ experience advising a diverse client mix on community building, retirement living and aged care projects both overseas and domestically, Alan is a recognised expert in the sector. As a valued advisor, he has led multiple reviews, reform and advisory projects along with numerous transactions for Private, Corporate, Not-for-Profit, and Government clients.
Prior to joining PwC, Alan was a Fund Manager in the social infrastructure team at Australian Unity tasked with capital raising and delivery governance for a range of new seniors’ living developments across Australia.
He is currently leading PwC’s work on the RLC / PwC Retirement Living Census.
Alan is a longstanding Director of Aboriginal Housing Victoria, one of Australia’s largest indigenous housing providers, and chairs its Development and Asset Management committee. He has previously held a number of sector committee positions for the Property Council of Australia, as well as UDIA (Urban Development Institute of Australia).
